Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Mishawaka, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

2025 Capital Improvement Projects Project A: Grissom Middle School Asphalt and Fencing Project B: Bittersweet Elementary School Water Connection Project C: Prairie Vista Elementary School Water Connection Project A Grissom Middle School Asphalt and Fencing: Mill and overlay the asphalt parking lots on the ease and north sides of the elementary school. Install new pavement markings, including additional ADA spaces, for the newly paved parking lot areas. Repair damaged pavement around storm sewer structures where indicated and provide and install new castings. Improve fencing for the tennis court and the north, west, and south sides of the fence around the football field/track, to include, removal of existing fence fabric; installation of new black vinyl-coated chain link fabric; removal and replacement of damaged fence posts where indicated; sleeving of all fence posts. Project B: Bittersweet Elementary School Water Connection: Connect the school to the City of Mishawaka water utility. The connection will be via a new 8" water main connected to a City stub located on the east side of Bittersweet Road. The project will also include the removal and restoration of impacted areas of pavement, sidewalk, curb, lawn, and landscape areas. Work inside the building will include the installation of a backflow preventer and meter. Project C Prairie Vista Elementary School Water Connection: Connect the school to the City of Mishawaka water utility. The connection will be via a new 8" water main connected to a City stub located on the south side of Brick Road. The project will also include the removal and restoration of impacted areas of pavement, sidewalk, curb, lawn, and landscape areas. Work inside the building will include the installation of a backflow preventer and meter. Bids shall be properly and completely executed on the Bid Form provided and accompanied by a non collusion affidavit, Form 96 of the State Board of Accounts, and a certified check or bid bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the Bidder's total bid amount, including all alternatives bids items and other items as noted. The guarantee shall be made out to: Penn-Harris-Madison School Corporation. The successful bidder will be required to furnish Contract Performance and Payment Bonds for 100% of their contract amount prior to execution of contracts. Bonds shall be maintained in accordance with IC 36-1-12-13.1 and 36-1- 12-14. Bonds shall be in full force and effect for a period of at least 12 months after the date of final completion of the Contract. Custom Bid Result.
