Project Location: Bittersweet Elementary School, 55860 Bittersweet Rd, Mishawaka, IN 46545 Project consists of the painting of all exposed surfaces in the gym and office. This includes structure, underside of decking, walls, and doors/frames. Construction Contract: Bids will be received for the following work: 1. General Contract (all trades). Notice to Proceed will be issued within 7 days of March 24, 2025, PHM's board meeting. Mobilization and construction can begin at the new Tech Center immediately following the NTP. Work will need to be completed to allow for the current Tech Center staff and furniture to move from the existing location at Schmucker Middle School into the renovated Tech Center. This will need to occur following the end of the spring semester, then SMS renovation can begin and will need to be completed by August 8, 2025. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. Bidders Questions: Architect will provide responses at Prebid conference to bidders questions received up to two business days prior to conference. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 10 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids.
