Community Crossings Matching Grant 2024-2 2025 Patch, Mill, and Overlay of Various Streets This Project Will Include Milling, Patching, Asphalt Pavement, Concrete Sidewalks/curb Ramps, Concrete Curb, Pavement Markings, and Other Appurtenant Work at the Following Locations: Fifteenth St From Sixteenth St to West St, Sixteenth St From Fifteenth St to West St, Beiger St From Twelfth St to 583' North of Sixth St, Bittersweet Rd From Lincoln way East (Sr 933) to Vistula Rd, Vistula Rd From Bittersweet Rd to Cedar Rd, Jefferson Blvd From Christyann St to Cedar St, Division St From Canadian National Railroad to Jefferson Blvd, Mckinley Ave From Canadian National Railroad to Elder Rd, Clover Rd From Jefferson Blvd to Mckinley Ave, Mcknight St From Lasalle Ave to Mckinley Ave, Fir Rd From Canadian National Railroad to Day Rd, N Main St From Juday Creek Bridge to 1,321' North of Edison Lakes Pkwy, University Drive Ct From University Dr to Dead End, Grape Rd From Cleveland Rd (Sr 23) to 324' North of Thrush St. The General Contractor Shall Be Prequalified by Indot to Perform a Minimum of One (1) Work Type Applicable to This Project. A Certified Check Payable to the City of Mishawaka, Indiana or a Satisfactory Bid Bond Executed by the Bidder and Surety Company, in an Amount Equal to Five Percent (5%) of the Bid Shall Be Submitted With Each Bid. The Bidder Awarded the Contract Will Be Required to Furnish a Separate Performance Bond and Payment Bond, Each in the Amount of One-hundred Twenty-five Percent (125%) of the Contract Price Before Commencing Work. The Performance Bond and Payment Bond Shall Remain in Effect Throughout the Entire Construction Period and in Addition a Maintenance Bond in an Amount of 10% of the Contract Price for a Period of Three Years From the Date of Final Completion Will Be Required. Each Bidder Shall Be Required to Complete All Documents Listed in the Checklist for Bidders. Each Bidder Shall Be Required to Complete the Bid Form Included With These Documents. The Substantial Completion Date for This Project Shall Be October 31, 2025. The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Mishawaka, Indiana, Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids and to Waive Any Irregularities in Bidding and to Make an Award in the Best Interest of the City. No Bid or Bid Security May Be Withdrawn After the Scheduled Closing Time for Receipt of Bids for at Least Sixty (60) Days.
