Project consists of selective site demolition and construction of a new storage building. The new storage facility is approximately 1,500 square feet. Work includes associated site work for drive access, foundation and slab prep, concrete foundation piers and slab, wood framed structure, exterior metal panels, and work indicated on the contract documents. Utility connections to the existing school, and future utility rough-in. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 10 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Prebid meeting will commence at the Support Services Center. Architect and Owner Representative will be available immediately following prebid meeting to tour the facility and/or project site Bidders Questions: Architect will provide responses at Prebid conference to bidders questions received up to two business days prior to conference. Notice to Proceed will be issued within 7 days of March 24, 2025, PHM's board meeting. Mobilization and construction can begin at the new Tech Center immediately following the NTP. Work will need to be completed to allow for the current Tech Center staff and furniture to move from the existing location at Schmucker Middle School into the renovated Tech Center. This will need to occur following the end of the spring semester, then SMS renovation can begin and will need to be completed by August 8, 2025. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required ofthe successful Bidder.
