The proposed construction will consist of installation of a new metal standing seam roofing system over the gabled shingle roof sections of the Hendricks County Government Center. The work shall be performed in accordance with the provisions of this Notice, the General and Special Provisions, the Contract, and the Plans and Specifications for this project. The bid shall include furnishing of all materials, equipment, and labor as indicated in the Speci- fications. Any and all permits are to be procured by the successful bidder. All bids shall be prop- erly and completely executed on the forms provided by the Contract documents and will include the Non-Collusion Affidavit as required by the statutes of the State of Indiana. Each bid shall be accompanied by the deposit if an acceptable certified check or cashier's check payable to the Board of Commissioners Hendricks County or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and an approved surety company in an amount not less than ten percent {10%) of the total amount of the bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond with good and sufficient surety in an amount equal to one hundred percent {100%) of the total amount of the bid; a payment bond equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the bid; a two-year workmanship warranty after completion of the project; and proof of insurance as specified in the General Provisions. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of sixty {60) days after the opening of the bids. The Board of Directors of Hendricks County reserves the right to reject any/all bids and/or waive any formalities or irregularities in the bidding.
