The Town of Springfield is requesting proposals for landscaping work to be done throughout the summer of 2025. SCOPE OF WORK Biweekly: 1. Mowing and trimming of the Toonerville Trail from the trailhead at the Robert Jones Industrial Center (280 Clinton Street, near United Construction & Forestry) to its transition to Paddock Road 2. Mowing and trimming of the Toonerville Trail from its resumption near Hillside Auto (approx. 304 Paddock Road) to its termination across from Hoyt's Landing at the Connecticut River (approx. 6 Connecticut River Road/corner of Charlestown Road) 3. Small trash and debris to be picked up as needed during mowing 4. Approximately fifteen (15) mowings and trimmings are anticipated during the summer. Once during the summer, by June 10, 2025: Clean-up and disposal of grass, weeds, and debris along sidewalks on both sides of VT Route 11 (Clinton Street/Main Street/River Street) from the former Jones & Lamson complex (200 Clinton Street) to the Springfield Shopping Plaza at 2 Chester Road. Supplemental compensation at an hourly rate per worker for any additional requested work Please submit your proposal specifying per mowing/biweekly costs for the mowing items.
