Chip Seal Bids Chip Seal - 10% Rubber (3/8" stone) 57,200 SY Crack Filling 1 Day Performance Bond w/ 1-year warranty 1 LS BIDDER hereby agrees to complete the work under the contract between August 1, 2025 and September 1, 2025. In the event the work is not completed by September 10, 2025, BIDDER agrees to pay as liquidated damages, the sum of four hundred ($400.00) dollars for each consecutive calendar day until work is complete, unless such delay is caused by the actions or inactions of the Town, or conditions reasonably determined to be out of the control of the Chosen Contractor. Question Deadline 04/28/2025 at 4:00 PM ET Questions about this Request for Bid should be directed solely to Ben Moffit, Highway Superintendent (pwdept@vermontel.net) or phone #802-732-7018. The TOWN shall issue an Addendum if necessary, by 4:00pm on Tuesday, April 29, 2025. Bids are expected to be awarded by the Town Select Board at the 5/12/2025 selectboard meeting. The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids/proposals received as a result of this solicitation, or to cancel in part or in its entirety this solicitation, if it is in the best interest of the Town to do so. The Town reserves the right to cancel the award without liability to the bidder/proposer at any time before a contract has been fully executed by all parties and is approved by the Town.
