Renovation of a military facility in Anchorage, Alaska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
This project involves a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Design-Bid-Build (DBB) construction contract for the replacement of outdated fire alarm systems across 44 buildings at Eareckson Air Station. The scope includes the demolition and/or replacement of existing fire alarm systems to meet the requirements of UFC 3-600-01 Fire Protection Engineering for Facilities. Additionally, the project includes the construction of two Monaco D-21 receiving stations and the installation of outside plant fiber optic cabling to establish a communication backbone for transmitting fire alarm signals from each building to the central receiving stations. All questions and/or comments should be submitted no later than ten (10) calendar days prior to the proposal due date. The contract cost magnitude for contract award is approximately $30 Million to $33 Million. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
