Work includes the construction of: Demolition of the existing grit removal system equipment, including air lift pump, blower with piping, and grit classifier with piping. New grit removal equipment consisting of a new stacked tray grit removal tank insert with inlet channel connection inside existing grit tank with submersible grit transfer pump, grit classifier, and grit dewatering/conveyor unit. Additional upgrades include new piping from grit tank to grit classifying equipment, and drains back to grit tank.
