Site work and paving for a road / highway in Hanover, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Contractor shall be responsible for temporary traffic control in accordance with PennDOT Publication 213. The cost thereof shall be incorporated into each Bid Item, as required. No separate payment will be made. The roads may be closed during construction but local traffic must be accommodated at all times. Advance road closure postings and door hangers shall be placed at least five (5) calendar days in advance with anticipated construction dates. A bid bond by acceptable surety or a certified check made payable to West Manheim Township in the amount of 5% of the maximum bid must be provided by each bidder with their bid. The successful bidder, when awarded a contract, shall furnish Performance and Payment Bonds (with suitable surety), as specified in the Contract. Notice is hereby given to bidders that this project is not subject to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act approved August 15, 1961 (Act No. 442, P.L. 987), as amended West Manheim Township reserves the right to accept any bid or reject any or all bids
