Description

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Shrewsbury Township, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The intent of this contract is to establish unit prices for various site improvements,which the Neptune Township Board of Education requires throughout the year with the option to renew. The work will belimited to the Neptune Township Board of Education property. The bidder has been asked to provide unit costs to furnish andinstall curb, concrete curb removal and replacement, concrete driveway removal and replacement, pavement milling, lightduty pavement, heavy duty pavement, pavement overlay, topsoil and seeding, topsoil and sodding, front end loader, dumptruck, chain link fence, traffic stripes and pavers. This work, when directed by the owner, shall be completed in a timelyfashion at the quoted unit price. The contract shall be for two years and then renewable for one two year period or two one year periods, if agreeable by both parties. contractors must be DBC pre-qualified by the State of New Jersey in accordance with NJSA The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive immaterial formalities in any bid if deemed to be inthe interest of the Board of Education.
