Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Cortez, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a 5,000-square-foot golf course; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The project is located at the Conquistador Golf Course Parking Lot and includes removal of approximately 5,000 SY of asphalt excavation, scarify, recompact, and shape subgrade for paving; 1200 tons of class 6 base course, and 850 tons of 3" HMA pavement, with crack seal around the edges of the pavement. Bids shall be submitted in writing on the documents provided and signed by the bidder or its duly authorized agent. Remove and replace asphalt paving in the parking lot located at the Conquistador Golf Course, as per attached specifications. The project includes approximately 5,000 SY of parking lot and road reconstruction, which includes milling/removal of existing asphalt, reconditioning/scarifying subgrade, recycling of existing Class 6 ABC and asphalt, hauling and placing new Class 6 ABC, and repaving with approved hot-mix asphalt. The process to be used in the selection of the General Contractor is the Competitive Sealed Best Value Bidding method comprised of two steps as described in Section I (H). The work cannot occur during the week of August 18-25 The City reserves the right to waive any formality or any informality in the process of awarding a bid. The City reserves the right to accept any bid, in whole or in part, and to reject any or all bids if it be deemed in the best interest of the City to do so
