Reference Number 0000381755 Job Location: Cortez Rec Center 425 Roger Smith Avenue, Cortez, CO 81321 PROJECT TITLE AND DESCRIPTION Remove tile and open wall as needed to remove existing valves and shower heads. Stub out plumbing (hot and cold lines), patch walls, mount stainless-steel tamper-proof housings, sweat in new isolation valves and shower heads in each housing, repair tile and grout as needed. Shower specifications: ensure stainless steel and tamper-proof housings that have isolation valves in each enclosure (See Appendix D). There will be 14 shower enclosures in total, no specific brand is required, but it must be serviceable with replacement parts available. It is important for each shower housing to have the capability to be serviced individually once this project is completed. Additionally, a hot water circulation line loop needs a connection to all locker rooms. All work is within the City of Cortez city limits. The process to be used in the selection of the General Contractor is the Competitive Sealed Best Value Bidding method comprised of two steps as described in Section I (H). SCOPE OF SERVICES a. Scope of Work: The Contractor shall furnish all of the materials and perform all of the work shown on the drawings and described in the specifications for the project titled: 2025 Recreation Center Shower Reconstruction Project, consisting in general terms of the installation of: b. Also, add a return recirculation line at the end of each line. 2. Repair tile and grout as needed. Anticipated tile needs are 4in. ceramic white tile, 4 per shower, for a total of 56 tiles. However, the rec center maintenance supervisor will discuss with contractors during the walk through. 3. All work is in the City of Cortez city limits. Work performed shall be of high quality, in compliance with general accepted standards of workmanship, and in conformity with the Contract Documents.
