Site work for a water / sewer project in Rock Island, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Bids shall be submitted for a single contract that will include the following: General and electrical work for upgrades to the electrical infrastructure at docks 100, 300, and 500. Work includes replacing all of the electrical gear serving the three docks, elevating the gear above the floor plane, and providing wood access platforms. The Bidder shall state on the Proposal Form the time in calendar days, from date of "Notice of Award", Bidder guarantees completion of the project. Representatives of all bidding firms: General, Mechanical, and Electrical Work are requested to attend and present any questions they may have. The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities and/or reject any or all bids when, in the opinion of the Owner, such action will serve the best interests of the Owner. Commencement of the Work will be at the Owner's discretion. Bids shall be submitted on forms issued by the Architect per the Instructions to Bidders. Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The general prevailing rate of wages in the locality in which the work is performed for each craft or type of workers or mechanic needed to execute the contract will adhere to all federal laws and laws of the state, and to all local ordinances and regulations applicable to the work hereunder, and having force of law.
