The Township of Montville for the Morris County Department of Public Works, Division of Engineering & Transportation consisting of, but not limited to, 30,726 S.Y. - HMA Milling, 3" or Less, 3,690 Tons - Hot Mix Asphalt 9.5M64 Surface Course, 228 L.F. - 9"x20" Concrete Vertical Curb, 64 L.F. - Granite Curb, 50 L.F. - 9" x 6" Hot Mix Asphalt Curb, 1,652 L.F. - Beam Guide Rail, 107 Unit - Beam Guide Rail Post, 10 ft Long, 8 Unit - Beam Guide Rail Anchorage, 4 Unit - Tangent Guide Rail Terminal, 486 LF - Transverse Rumble Strips, 486 LF - Traffic Marking Lines, 5.5" (in Rumble Strips), Reconstructed & Reset Inlets, and Warning & Regulatory Signs, in addition to other miscellaneous items. Bid proposals shall be delivered to the purchasing agent either in person at the hour designated, or previous thereto, by delivery or mail, at the morris county purchasing division, room 517, 5th floor, administration & records building, 10 court street po box 900, morristown, new jersey, 07963 0900, or to the purchasing office, 5th floor of the administration and records building. No bids shall be accepted after the designated time, and morris county will not assume responsibility for bids forwarded by mail or delivery service, nor any other conveyance. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of n.J.S.A.10:5-31 et seq. And n.J.A.C.17:27-1 et seq. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond, payment bond and maintenance bond as specified in the contract documents. Each bid must be accompanied with a consent of surety which states that the surety company will provide the bidder with the performance bond specified in the contract documents in the event the bidder is awarded the contract. Bids are being solicited through a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20. 7, and as such, contractors are exempt from the limitations on making political contributions under that law. Further, for that reason, as well as because of a language in the New Jersey's Annual Appropriations Act, refusal to disclose campaign contributions otherwise required by N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.2 et seq. and N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.25 et seq., will not adversely affect Bidder's consideration for award. The Contractor shall maintain all documentation related to products, transactions, or services under this contract for a period of five years from the date of final payment, per N.J.A.C. 17:44-2.2. Such records shall be made available to the New Jersey Office of the State Comptroller upon request. Question Deadline 04/09/2025 at 12:00 PM ET No oral interpretation and or clarification of the meaning of the specifications for any goods and services will be made to any bidder. Such request shall be in writing, addressed to the Director of Purchasing mcpurchasing@co.morris.nj.us or as otherwise stipulated in the specification. In order to be given consideration, a written request must be received at least ten (10) business days (Saturday, Sunday and holidays excluded), prior to the date fixed for the opening of the bid for goods and services.
