Renovation of a mixed-use development in Shelbyville, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
**As of May 26, 2025, the project was awarded to Genesis Roofing Company Inc, but the awarded amount is not available.** Reroof of Bedford County Learning Academy. Contractor to meet the following requirements: 1) Remove all ballast rock on rock and store in an area to be reused. Any shortfall is contractors responsibility to supply. 2) Remove existing EPDM flashing and membrane and dispose ofmaterial offsite. 3) Inspect existing insulation with Owners Rep or designated person and if damage is found replacement will be done at agreed upon price at time of contract. 4) Contractor to install 60 Mil, EDPM membrane roofsystem. 5) Fabricate pre-finished metal coping, gravel stop and counter flashing out of 24- gauge pre-finished material. 6) Owner to select color of new metal material from contractors choices. 7) Fabricate all new 16oz copper drain sleeves and install through the existing soffit. 8) Install all new downspouts at each drain outlet. 9) Crane or forklift to deliver and hoist material 10) Detailed drawings, warranty information and manufacturers specifications as part ofbid. 11) Certificate ofinsurance and bond for work being performed. 12) All work to be performed under OSHA guidelines. Hard Hats and steel toed shoes required. 13) Provide NDL (No dollar Limit on manufacturers warranty) Edge to Edge warranty on roof with 5 year labor warranty and 20 year manufacturers warranty on all material.
