The scope of work includes furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, fixtures and services required for a slope improvement project at three locations along Outer Loop Road in Prescott. The total project length is 2,225 feet with approximately 11,610 cubic yards of roadway excavation and haul away. Other associated work includes removal of 1,813 linear feet of existing fence and installation of 1,980 linear feet of new fence, installation of 1,270 linear feet of brow ditch, and installation of 20 linear feet of 15 inch Arch Corrugated Metal Pipe. The contractor shall be responsible for proposing and implementing a proper traffic control plan including the utilization of temporary concrete barriers and temporary impact attenuators. All work is to be done in accordance with the plans, specifications, and contract documents. Bids shall include all applicable taxes and must be accompanied by a proposal guaranty in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the contract price bid, made payable to the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors. Bidders are invited to be present at the opening of bids, but absence will not be considered cause for disqualification. Bidders shall be responsible for any licenses or permits required by the regulatory agency of the State of Arizona that apply to the performance of this contract. The Board of Supervisors of Yavapai County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive formalities, and to accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of Yavapai County.
