The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to: GSD is requesting the services of a General Contractor (B100) for a STEM remodel and photo-voltaic system installation . Work shall include, but is not limited to: o Removal and disposal of existing sunshade system. o Landscaping modifications. o Removal of floor finishes not otherwise removed by Abatement Contractor. o Selective demolition of store front systems, interior wall systems, cabinetry. o Patch and repair as described by Drawings and Specifications. o Removal of Electrical and Mechanical systems as indicated. o Installation of new wall systems, doors, frames, and fire shutter. o Installation of new finishes, interior and exterior painting. o Installation of new landscaping. o Installation of photo-voltaic system and battery storage system. o Installation of graphics. o Structural modifications. o Installation of limited fire suppression system. o New lighting. o Electrical and mechanical work as indicated. Location- Magna Elementary School 8500 W 3100 S Magna, Utah 84044 Project Scope: Remodel of an existing space within Magna Elementary School for the Granite School District, including site work. Contractor shall furnish all labor, material, and equipment to perform the work as indicated on the Drawings and in accordance with Bid Documents, including General and Supplemental Conditions of the Construction Contract, and other documents as provided for the performance of this Work. Time is of the essence. Contractor shall coordinate the demolition and construction schedule with the Abatement Contractor, Subcontractors, and GSD's own forces and/or separate Contractors to ensure the Project will meet the Contract Substantial Completion Date.
