Pittston Township Parnell Street Stormwater Improvement Project Base Bid; The proposed project will take place within Parnell St. (Township Road) and will consist of the installation of approximately 1,185 L.F 18" SLHDPE; 110 L.F 15" SLHDPE, 130 L.F. 12" SLHDPE; 17 stormwater inlets, 3 Stormwater Manholes and 3,600 SY of Pavement Mill & Overlay. The bid must be accompanied by a certified/cashiers check or Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount, made payable to Pittston Township. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids or portions thereof or to waive any informalities in the bidding. If written notice of the acceptance of this Bid is mailed or delivered to the undersigned within sixty (60) days after the opening thereof, or at any time thereafter before the Bid is withdrawn, the undersigned agrees to execute and deliver the Agreement in the form prescribed by the Pittston Township. The Bidder, in accordance with the Presidents Executive Order 11246, will be required to ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against on the basis of their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin in employment or the provision of services. Bidders are advised that PA Prevailing Minimum Wage Rates must be paid to workers employed on this project and are incorporated in the Contract Documents.
