The selected Contractor shall assist the City of Pasadena ("COP" or City) in post-disaster FEMA Public Assistance cost-recovery management services for past, current, and future emergency declarations. This includes assisting the city with recovery efforts under state and federal aid programs (FEMA and Cal OES specifically). Duties also include assistance and support in grant management, compliance and administrative services in connection with applications for reimbursement from state, Federal or other grantor agencies, including FEMA, for significant losses and costs incurred because of disasters or emergencies. Contractor shall provide all personnel, labor, special equipment, tools, merchandise, materials, hardware, software, systems, program support and all other items necessary to provide the services listed in the Scope of Work. The initial term of the Contract resulting from this proposal is for three years from the date the City executes the contract. The compensation set forth in the Proposal shall remain valid and in effect during the initial term of the contract. There shall be two optional one-year extension periods subject to the approval of the City Manager, in his sole and absolute discretion, and which shall be memorialized in the form of an amendment to the contract, setting forth the agreed upon amount of compensation and such other terms and provisions as the parties may agree upon for each extension period. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or proposals and any item or items therein, and to waive any non conformity of proposals with this RFP, whether of a technical or substantive nature, as the interest of the City may require.
