Renovation of an educational facility in South River, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Provide approximately 14,000 sf of Modified Bitumen overlay on an existing EPDM Roof system that is nearing the end of its useful life. Installation will include the addition of a formed metal panel barrier system at parapets along with flashing, trim, copings, etc. The project also includes the addition of snowguards/snow fences at the existing Standing Seam Metal Roof. the bidders is requested and STRONGLY ENCOURAGED as an integral and important element of the biddingprocess so that all bidders have an equal understanding of the scope of work involved. Bidders must be pre-qualified by theNew Jersey Schools Development Authority ("NJSDA") as stated in the Contract Documents, prior to the date bids arereceived. All bidders, their subcontractors, and their sub-subcontractors shall be registered with the New Jersey Departmentof Labor, pursuant to the Public Works Contractor Registration Act, N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 et seq. indicating compliance withthe Act for work subject to the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act (N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq.) Contractors must submit copiesof their certificate of registration with their bid and must also include copies of the certificates for each named subcontractorlisted in its bid form with its bid. Sub-subcontractor certificates must be submitted prior to the sub-subcontractor providinggoods or services on this Project. The Bid must contain a Bid Security in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the Bid Price, notto exceed Twenty Thousand ($20,000.00) Dollars, and Consent of surety, each in the form and manner required by theContract Documents. No oral or other communications during the bidding process shall bind the Owner except as shall becontained in a written Addendum which the Owner may, in its sole discretion, issue in accordance with Applicable Law. Biddersare required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31, et seq., and N.J.A.C. 17:27. It is the sole responsibility ofthe Bidder to ensure timely receipt of its Bid by the Owner, at the place designated for opening of bids. The Owner assumesno responsibility whatsoever in connection with any defects arising out of the issuance of the Contract Documents or itsfailure to receive Bids at the time and place required and those which may arise from delay for any reason in obtaining theContract Documents or in the submission of a Bid, including, but not limited to, delays or failures of receipt caused by trafficdelay, errors by messengers, mis-labeling, mis-direction from any source including the Owner's personnel, mis-delivery bycommon carrier, or any other reason. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the opening date. TheBoard reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or to waive any informality in the bidding, as permitted by law, if it isin the interest of the Board to do so. When it is in its best interest to do so and to the maximum extent of its discretion underapplicable law, the Owner may award the Contract in whole or in part, select any combination of Bids and alternates, maywaive any informalities, and may reject any or all Bids.
