Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Franklin Park, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

**As of June 17,2025, the project was awarded to Copenhaver Construction, Inc, with an awarded amount of $1,790,478.85.** Washington St Reconstruction & Pacific Ave Green Infrastructure Site Directions: Washington Street, North of Belmont Avenue and Pacific Avenue, West of 25th Avenue. Project Category Code: Sanitary Sewer (Gravity), Roadway Pavement Markings, Water Main (Repair/Replace) Rehabilitation, Sidewalks/Curbs/Gutters, Street/Roadway Reconstruction , Utility Street Construction and Excavation, Landscaping (Planting Projects), Sewer and Water Construction, ADA Curb Ramps, Traffic Control, Grade and Surface, Landscaping, Stormwater Improvements, Paving (Asphalt or Concrete). Description: project involves the installation of approximately 1,415 LF of 8" and 6" dia. ductile iron watermain and appurtenances, 520 LF of 1" copper water service, 880 LF of storm sewer improvements, 9 storm structures, 350 LF of 6" sanitary sewer service replacement, 1,277 LF of roadway improvements which includes 3,700 SY of asphalt paving, 2,200 LF of concrete curb & gutter, 1,900 SF of concrete sidewalk and 900 SY of rain garden bioretention areas within Village right-of-way meeting MWRD design standards. Work on the 9 separate rain garden areas includes approximately 900 CY earth excavation, 550 LF underdrain, and 800 native plants. The work on Pacific Ave is limited to 2 rain garden bioretention areas. The project also includes lead water service replacement which involves the removal and replacement of approximately 6 lead domestic water services, from the property line to the existing residence, with approximately 155 LF of 1" diameter type K copper tubing. The replacement of these services will also include interior residence restoration and asbestos abatement, if found. The Village reserves the right to extend the Bid Deadline from this date and time to accept Bids submitted after the Bid Deadline, as the Village, in its sole discretion, determines is in the best interest of the Village. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Village reserves the right to defer, postpone, delay, or reschedule the Bid Opening for such time and to such date as the Village, in its sole discretion, determines is in the best interest of the Village. BID SECURITY: Bid Security in the amount of not less than five (5) percent of the Bid shall accompany each Bid in the form of bid bond, cash, certified check, cashier's check or draft payable to The Village of Franklin Park. The Village reserves the right to reject any and all Bids or award each schedule individually, to waive any informalities or technicalities in bidding, and to accept the Bid which best serves the interests of the Village. The Village shall, in its sole discretion, determine what does or does not constitute an informality or technicality, and, in submitting a Bid, the Bidder agrees to be bound by that determination.
