Questions will be answered by written addenda and distributed to the above-mentioned online. All addenda issued during the bid period will be incorporated into the contract. Addenda issued prior to bidding shall be acknowledged on the Bid Form. Failure to acknowledge addenda may be cause for rejection of bid as non-responsive. The Project consists of the construction of remodeling the boys and girls restrooms on the upper two floors of Hawthorne Middle School. The work will entail removing all plumbing fixtures, floor tile, wainscot wall tile and existing ceilings. The new work will create private individual toilet and urinal rooms with new locations for all plumbing fixtures. The new toilet and urinal rooms will have wood doors, new floor and wall tile, new 2x2 lay-in ceiling system with individual lights, exhaust fans, and smoke/vapeing detectors. Additionally, because the modifications to sewer lines on the main floor will affect the existing ceiling at the lower level, the project will include new ceiling work at the lower level.
