The City of Pocatello invites interested parties to submit Proposals for the City of Pocatello's Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). In 2021 the City of Pocatello adopted its long-range plan, Comprehensive Plan 2040: Our Valley | Our Vision, to identify the City's priority goals as well as strategies to achieve those goals. The purpose of the CIP is to identify: Capital projects and their alignment with priority needs and goals including the Comprehensive Plan; estimated cost of projects; estimated cost of maintenance of projects; timeframe for completion of projects; the financial plan to adequately fund and resource those projects; and investment strategy to guide the funding needs. The City of Pocatello is a municipal corporation located in Southeast, Idaho. The City is issuing this RFP and anticipates selecting a firm that has extensive experience working in a local government setting establishing a CIP. Only the firms responding to the RFP will be considered. This solicitation is being conducted in accordance with the provisions of Idaho Code Title 67, Chapter 28 (Purchasing by Political Subdivisions) and the City of Pocatello Purchasing Policies. Those provisions are hereby incorporated by reference into this RFP. All contracts must be strictly awarded in accordance with the requirements of the RFP. Section 3, disadvantaged business enterprises, minority owned businesses, and women owned businesses are especially encouraged to apply. If it becomes necessary to revise any part of this RFP or otherwise provide additional information, an addendum will be issued to all prospective Respondents who received copies of the original request. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
