Renovation of an educational facility in Pocatello, Idaho. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
A description of the work of this project can be summarized to include: This project will relocate the copy center into the existing Mailroom in the basement of the Pond Student Union Building. The new copy center will be collocated with the existing Mail Center in the southern corner of the building. The project will demolish the existing mailboxes, storage, and associated items. The project will create an opening through a CMU wall in the adjacent barbershop. The project will fill the door and windows at the barbershop and locate mailboxes in the hallway. The exterior walls will be furred out with insulation added and the exterior windows replaced. The project will provide new electrical and data locations for the future copy center equipment. It will also update or add additional equipment to the existing Mechanical systems to handle the additional heat and humidity requirements. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount, including any add alternates, is required. A Public Works Contractor's License for the State of Idaho is required to bid on this work.
