Construct Taxilane Construct Taxilane consists of full depth excavation of the previous Pocatello Raceway and construction of 25' wide taxilane. Work also includes safety area grading and stormwater improvements. Civil work includes clearing and grubbing of the existing site, removal of existing asphalt and concrete, removal and relocation of overhead power lines and power poles, and construction of subbase and base course. Other work includes installation of taxilane edge reflectors, installation of transformers, installation of junction boxes, installation of underground power, placement of P-401 asphalt, application of pavement markings. Approximate civil quantities include 1,188 C.Y. of excavation, 2,900 L.F. of trenching for power conduit, 47 S.Y. of soil stabilization fabric, installation of 110 L.F. of 8" steel gas casing, installation of 57 L.F. of 12" steel casing for pressure sewer crossing, 1,950 C.Y. of subbase (P-154), 800 C.Y. of base course (P-208), and 920 tons of plant mix bituminous pavement (P-401), and 1,170 S.F. of pavement markings. Approximate electrical quantities include 119 L.F. of 4-inch PVC 2-way direct burial conduit, 124 L.F. of 4-inch PVC 4-way direct burial conduit, 12 edge reflectors, 4 transformers, 5 junction boxes, and 2 taxiway ending markers. Miscellaneous civil work includes removal of 2,740 L.F of existing security fence, installation of 2,000 L.F of proposed security fence, installation of 1 security gate, and 4.1 acres of seeding. Approximate drainage quantities include 2 dry wells with oil sand interceptors each.
