Reference Number 0000291872 The University of Winnipeg (hereinafter referred as ‘U of W’) is issuing this RFP with the intent of entering into a contract for the Elevator and Escalator Maintenance and Repair Services that will provide maintenance and repair service for all the elevators and escalators at The University of Winnipeg in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The contract will come into effect on June 2nd, 2025, for a five (5) year period in accordance with the terms and conditions hereinafter described, and specifications provided. This RFP and the subsequent submission will be referenced, and form part of the contract issued to the successful proponent. The U of W will enter into an Agreement with the Bidder who submits a Proposal that best serves the interests of the University when evaluated in accordance with the stated evaluation criteria. The intent of the attached specifications in Schedule II, III, IV, V, VI, and VII is to cover a complete elevator maintenance service in every respect. It is not intended to give every detail in the specifications, but it must be understood that all material and equipment normally and usually furnished, required, and/or, needed to completely, safely and satisfactorily continue the performance and operation of the elevator equipment as originally built by the manufacturer. The submission of the Proposal, the receipt of the Proposal by the University and the opening of the Proposal, or any one of those, is not acceptance in any way whatsoever of the Proposal.
