Reference Number 0000291937 Question Acceptance Deadline 2025/05/08 12:00:00 AM CDT Project Work includes provision of all required labour & materials for a fully operational new high efficient hydronic heating boiler/s. Work includes but is not limited to the following: Demolition, and removal of existing boiler and all associated breaching, chimney, piping systems, pumps, miscellaneous insulation material and related components as indicated in the tender documents. Provide new high efficient hot water firetube condensing heating boiler/s complete with all chimney venting, DDC controls, piping, pumps, insulation, electrical work, heating system flushing, chemical cleaning and treatment, balancing, and commissioning. Modify existing gas appliance chimney vent supports to allow for new materials. Modify existing roof chimney termination to accommodate new direct venting, provide all roofing and flashing materials and work as required for a complete finished system. Provide the required bonds and liability insurance to ensure such specified assurances to the Owner. Coordination with equipment supplier(s) to schedule delivery, unloading and safe storage of equipment. Layout of the work for construction of complete system and associated works as noted in drawings and specifications. Protect existing foundations, superstructure, interior finishes, plant and equipment during construction. Clean-up of project and site upon completion. Repair all defects identified during the first year after completion of Work. Division of the Work among subcontractors, suppliers or vendors is solely the Contractor's responsibility. Neither the Owner nor Consultant assumes any responsibility to act as an arbiter to establish subcontract terms between sectors or disciplines of work. Bids shall be accompanied by a security deposit as follows: .1 Bid bond in the amount of not less than ten (10) % of the bid price. Or certified cheque in the amount of not less than 10% of the bid price. .2 Endorse the Bid Bond (or certified cheque) in the name of the Owner as Obligee, signed and sealed by the principal (Contractor) and surety. Substantially complete the Work no later than 30th day of September 2025.
