The Poway Unified School District ("District") is issuing this Notice to Bidders to solicit bids for a Contract with a company for the purchase and delivery of kitchen equipment specified herein, for a term of three (3) years, as set forth in the preceding Notice to Bidders. The District issues this Notice to Bidders on behalf of the Governing Board of the Poway Unified School District. Discrepancies in, and/or omissions from the plans, specifications or other contract documents or questions as to their meaning shall be immediately brought to the attention of the District by submission of a written request for an interpretation or correction to the District. Such submission, if any, must be sent to the Purchasing Department by emailing Elan Saleh at esaleh@powayusd.com no later than May 5, 2025. Each bid must be submitted with security in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the maximum bid amount as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into the proposed contract, if awarded to the bidder, and will provide the insurance certificates and other documents described in the contract documents. Such security must be in one of the following forms: (1) a cashier's check made payable to the District; (2) a certified check made payable to the District; or (3) a bond made payable to the District in the form set forth in the contract documents. Any bond must have been issued by a California-admitted surety as defined in Code of Civil Procedure Section 995.120.
