The City of Cartersville accepts sealed Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) for Engineering Design Services related to the above-named project. The purpose of this SOQ is to select qualified Consultants to provide professional services to assist the City with specific engineering tasks related to the development of the City of Cartersville Tennessee Street (SR 61) at Collins Drive Roundabout Project. The project will provide a roundabout intersection at Collins Drive on State Route 61 providing improved operations and safety at the intersection. The project will include lighting, landscaping, pedestrian features, and be designed as a gateway project for the Tennessee Street corridor to help calm traffic in the area and facilitate future pedestrian improvements along the corridor in accordance with the Tennessee Street Vision Report published by Stantec in February of 2023. The goal of this project is to improve safety for drivers and pedestrians at this intersection and to improve traffic operations at the intersection as well.
