The requested work will be performed in two service areas with District 3B and District 5 as one contract. Piping to be televised is reinforced concrete pipe, vitrified clay pipe, polyvinyl chloride, and ductile iron pipe with a diameter of 8 inches to 48-inch circular pipe totaling 2.96 miles. The City is currently utilized City staff and equipment to clean in sewer District 3B then District 5 in preparation for 2025 televising. Both districts were last cleaned in 2021. The City will communicate to the selected contractor its cleaning schedule and will work to the best of its ability to address cleaning needs with the contractor. Additionally, an incentive has been added to the contract terms and is payable to the Contractor if the milestone is met within the original contract terms; see the sample Contractor Contract (Section 10) for details on the incentive. All prospective bidders/respondents are hereby notified to contact only members of the City of Superior Staff as identified within the bidding documents. The City of Superior reserves the right to reject any or all bids/proposals, to waive irregularities, or to accept such bids/proposals, as in the opinion of the City, will be in its best interests.
