The City of Superior, Wisconsin, is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to provide fiber utility locating services for the City owned fiber network. This locating contract will be a two-year agreement, with opportunities for extensions. The city intends to enter into an exclusive contractual agreement for such services of accurate fiber utility marking completed in response to Diggers Hotline tickets. The City of Superior, Wisconsin, is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to provide fiber utility locating services for the City owned fiber network. All bids must be prepared on the form provided and submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidder. The contractor shall submit a list of its subcontractors as a part of its proposal, which list shall not be added to or altered without the written consent of the City of Superior, and as specified in 66.0901 Wisconsin Statutes. The City of Superior encourages the participation of women and minority owned businesses. The City of Superior reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities, or to accept such bids, as in the opinion of the City, will be in its best interests. Superior is a community in Northwestern Wisconsin covering ~45 square miles, with a population of ~26,751 residents. As of 2023, there are over 11,661 households. The term of this agreement shall be from the date of the agreement through December 31, 2027, with options to renew upon mutual agreement of terms and conditions.
