Hillcrest Drive and Green Briar Avenue Reconstruction The Project includes the following Work: The project will install approximately 3,100 feet of 8- inch and 12-inch PVC watermain on Hillcrest Drive from Sunset Avnenue north to Sunrise Avenue and on Greenbriar Avenue from Hillcrest Drive to STH 66/Park Ridge Drive. New hydrants and water services will also be installed. The project will also reconstruct both streets with a rural typical section consisting of 4-inches of asphalt pavement over 12-inbches of dense graded aggregate base, with gravel shoulders. Existing street lighting will also be replaced along the project, consisting of a new control cabinet, 9 poles and fixtures and conduit and wire to complete the system. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the Owner as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The minimum wages to be paid on the project shall be in accordance with the wage rate scale established by local wage rates. The project Hillcrest Drive and Greenbriar Avenue project is funded in part by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Local Road Improvement Program (LRIP).
