**As of July 11,2025, the project was awarded to Reece Construction Company, with an awarded amount of $1,611,195.61.** iverwalk Phase 1 Fill project will consist of the following scopes of work: site demolition & disposal of HMA, concrete, bollards, abandonment of underground utilities, the excavation & disposal of petroleum hydrocarbon impacted soils (class 3 to be thermally treated). As well as the import of 93,000 cubic yards of fill from "Parcel O", 4015 Railway Avenue, Everett, Washington to our site at 60 State Avenue, Marysville, Washington. This project will also include the loading, quantity tracking, hauling, placing & stabilization of fill material, adjusting of existing utilities, removing & replacing chain link fencing and site management as described in the contract documents. All work must be completed in accordance with the Contract Documents and the Contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond (with an authorized surety company as surety) made payable to the City of Marysville in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount. The City of Marysville reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any irregularities or informalities in the bid or in the bidding. No bidder may withdraw its bid after the hour set for the opening thereof or before award of contract, unless said award is delayed for a period of forty-five (45) days. The City further reserves the right to make the bid award as deemed in the best interest of the City.
