Bidders shall submit an original bid in a sealed envelope labeled with the bidder's name and project title. The work to be performed under the City of Marysville's 2025 Pavement Preservation Program shall include a 2-inch grind and overlay, planning bituminous pavement, pavement repair where necessary, upgrade curb ramps to meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards, utility adjustment, channelization, site restoration and all other Work in accordance the attached Contract Plans, these Special Provisions and the Standard Specifications. The work to be performed under the City of Marysville's 2025 Neighborhood Traffic Safety (NTS) Program Projects (bid schedules A, B, and C), shall include installation of five (5) raised crosswalks, twelve (12) speed tables, three (3) traffic circles, pavement repair, planning bituminous pavement, permanent signing, channelization, restoration work, in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Special Provisions and the Standard Specifications. All work must be completed in accordance with the Contract Documents and the Contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check. or bid bond (with an authorized surety company as surety) made payable to the City of Marysville in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount. The City of Marysville reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any irregularities or informalities in the bid or in the bidding. No bidder may withdraw its bid after the hour set for the opening thereof or before award of contract, unless said award is delayed for a period of forty-five (45) days. The City further reserves the right to make the bid award as deemed in the best interest of the City. The City of Marysville, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
