The City of Bridgeport seeks bids for FWGC Black Course Holes # 4, 10, 12, 15, 16 & 18 Cart Path Extensions. Fairchild Wheeler is seeking bids to pave golf cart paths. These cart paths will be extensions of previous in place cart paths to connect them together so every golf hole will be connected with a cart path for golf carts. An estimated construction start date (weather permitting) is July 7, 2025 and a completion date by Oct 31, 2025. Question Deadline 05/22/2025 at 4:00 PM ET Any questions regarding this bid must be presented in writing and may be posted directly on electronically. Include with the submitted bid, a ten (10%) percent bid bond or a certified check made payable to the City of Bridgeport with its bid submission if the bid is $50,000.00 or more, except for bids from MBE's, for which a bid bond is required on bids that are $100,000 or more. The successful bidder, prior to permission to proceed, will be required to post a payment bond of 100% of the contract price if the contract price is in excess of $100,000, and a performance bond, for 100% of the contract price, if the bid is $50,000.00, or more except that performance bonds from MBE's will only be required on projects that are $100,000.00 or more. The City of Bridgeport reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or in part or to accept any bid, in its sole discretion if doing so deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Bridgeport. This includes the right to reject any or all bids or to decline to make an award. Further, the City of Bridgeport reserves the right to make an award to more than one bidder or make awards not based solely on low bid when time is of the essence.
