Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Fairfield, Connecticut. Conceptual plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The Town of Fairfield is seeking to engage the services of a Consulting Engineering firm to provide engineering services for the preparation of contract plans and documents for the Safe Routes to School (SRTS) Project for McKinley Elementary School. The project is funded by the Federal Carbon Reduction Program (CRP) administered by the Connecticut Department of Transportation. The improvements include sidewalk installation to complete the connectivity of sidewalks in the vicinity of McKinley Elementary School, enhancing the safety and convenience of residents, particularly those who drop off their kids at school. The project is located on the following seven streets nearby the McKinley Elementary School: 1. Alvin Street from Knapps Highway to Old Stratfield Road for a distance of 1,100 feet. 2. Bullard Street from Knapps Highway to Warsaw Street for a distance of 1,200 feet. 3. Crane Street from Knapps Highway to Old Stratfield Road for a distance of 1,000 feet. 4. Lenox Road from Tunxis Hill Road to Pope Street for a distance of 300 feet and from Cardinal Street to Alvin Street for a distance of 500 feet and a combined total of 800 feet. 5. Old Stratfield Road from Pope Street to Alvin Street for a distance of 1,100 feet. 6. Tunxis Hill Road from Knapps Highway to Old Stratfield Road for a distance of 1,000 feet. 7. Vesper Street from Knapps Highway to Old Stratfield Road for a distance of 1,100 feet . Please submit all questions regarding this solicitation through this portal.
