The Project includes the following Membrane System Roof Replacement Projects at Clive Learning Academy, located at 1603 73 rd Street; Windsor Heights, Iowa 50324, and at Walnut Creek Campus, located at 1020 8 th Street; West Des Moines, Iowa 50265. 1. Tear off and replacement of existing roofing system with new vapor barrier, insulation, coverboard, and membrane roofing assembly. New assembly will include a thirty (30) year manufacturer’s warranty & five (5) year contractor installation warranty. 2. All sheet metal copings, flashings, edge, fascia, boots and related accessories will be removed and replaced with new finished metal. Manufacturer’s twenty (20) year finish warranty shall be included for these components. Clive Learning Academy = Approximately 11,300 square feet of roofing replacement. Walnut Creek Campus = Approximately 7,479 square feet of roofing replacement. The Project includes the following Standing Seam Metal System Roof Replacement Projects at Crossroads Park Elementary, located at 1050 50 th Street; West Des Moines, Iowa 50266, and at Jordan Creek Elementary, located at 4105 Fuller Road; West Moines, Iowa 50265. 1. Tear off and replacement of existing roofing system with new underlayment, insulation, cover board, and standing seam metal roofing assembly. New assembly will include a twenty (20) year manufacturer’s warranty & five (5) year contractor installation warranty. 2. All sheet metal roofing, copings, flashings, edge, fascia, and related accessories will be removed and replaced with new finished metal. Manufacturer’s twenty (20) year finish warranty shall be included for these components. Crossroads Park Elementary = Approximately 1,551 square feet of roofing replacement. Jordan Creek Elementary = Approximately 365 square feet of roofing replacement. The Project site will be available to commence work starting on or about June 10 th , 2025. The work shall be substantially completed by August 8 th , 2025, and final completion on or before August 15 th , 2025. Bid Proposals must be accompanied by a bid security of five (5) percent (%) of the total amount of the proposal from bid bond, cashier’s check or certified check in the same amount. The bid security shall be provided to the WDMCS District as security that if the bidder is awarded the contract, the bidder will enter into a contract on the form provided by the WDMCS District at the price bid and shall furnish the required performance bond, payment bond and Certificate of Insurance. If the bidder fails to execute the contract and to furnish an acceptable performance bond, payment bond or Certificate of Insurance within ten (10) days after acceptance of the bid, the bid security may be forfeited or cashed by the WDMCS District as liquidated damages.
