Site work and paving for a civil project in University Park, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The Village seeks to enter a contract to execute construction services for a local road resurfacing project along Blackhawk Drive. The Village seeks to retain a qualified contractor to provide the material, equipment, and labor to perform the scope of work as described in this RFB. A Pavement Conditions Report indicated that Blackhawk Drive from University Parkway to Hickock Avenue is in very poor condition. The solution was determined to be milling and resurfacing to bring this roadway to satisfactory condition. Scope of Work: The project area is approximately 3,300 linear feet. The Scope of Work is generally described as: o 4" Milling o Preparation of Base o 1.5" HMA Surface Course o 2.5" HMA Binder Course o Tack and Prime Coat o Pavement Markings o Storm Structure Cleanout o Erosion Control o Traffic Control A 10% bid bond is required M/WBE's are encouraged to participate in the bid process.
