Site work and paving for a fire / police facility in University Park, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade fire / police facility.
Sealed proposals are sought for the FIRE STATION #1 ACCESS DRIVE RECONSTRUCTION. Proposals must be submitted on the forms provided by the Engineer and are to be sealed and addressed to the Village Manager. The contractor is required to pay not less than the prevailing wage rates as established by the State of Illinois Department of Labor and comply with all applicable Federal and local regulations. No work may begin until all required permits and construction easements are obtained. Bidder qualifications and experience are part of the basis for determining the lowest responsible bidder. Pre-qualification requirements: Prequalifications must be submitted to the Engineer by all potential bidders. The Engineer and the Village may refuse to issue plans, specifications, and proposals to any party deemed unqualified. Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check/bank draft or bid bond (minimum 10% of bid). A performance bond (100% of bid amount) must be furnished by the successful bidder. All bids remain subject to acceptance for 90 days after bid opening.
