The City of Everson is soliciting statements of qualifications from qualified consulting firms with expertise in civil design and construction engineering for the Everson 2025 Chip Seal Project in Everson, including all phases from design through construction. The work to be performed by the consultant will consist of preparing conceptual design drawings, preliminary engineering, and bid documents including plans, specifications, and an engineer's estimate for the Everson 2025 Chip Seal Project. The project includes design and engineering services related to pavement restoration, pavement reconstruction, and roadway design for existing asphalt roadways within the project limits. Funding for this project has been secured through the Washington State Transportation Improvement Board. The project will include pavement reconstruction and restoration for portions of the following streets within the City of Everson: Roeder Street, Strandell Street, Freda Avenue, Second Street, Third Street, Shuksan Way and Baker Street. The project will consist of a combination of several types of pavement reconstruction and restoration activities including, but not limited to pulverizing and compacting existing asphalt, placing chip seal, and roadway and base repair. The City of Everson reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, select the firm or firms most qualified, waive technical errors and informalities, and accept the proposals that, in its sole judgement, best serve the public interest.
