General Conditions are included with this package and bid prices shall include all labor and equipment costs to install pavement markings anywhere in Hamblen County. The bid prices shall also include any necessary mobilization, sweeping/cleaning and traffic control necessary for the safe and proper installation of pavement markings. Bid prices must also include all permits, licenses, inspection fees, transportation fees and any other charges, as applicable. Proof of insurance may be required in terms of liability to the public and negligence resulting in damage to County roads. All materials and installation procedures shall be in accordance with the Tennessee Department of Transportation specifications and the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices. A performance bond may be required at the discretion of the Hamblen County Highway Superintendent. The term of the bid shall be from July 1, 2025 thru June 30, 2026 No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 90 days after the scheduled time for receiving bids. Such a request to withdraw should be made in writing to the Hamblen County Highway Superintendent who will approve or disapprove of the request. The Hamblen County Highway Department reserves the right to waive minor informalities in any bid; to reject any or all bids with or without cause; and/or to accept the bid that in its judgment will be in the best interest of the Hamblen County Highway Department ** Bid date info : BIDS RECEIVED LATE: It is the bidder's responsibility to ensure that this bid is received by the Hamblen County Highway Department prior to the opening date and time specified above. Any bid received after the opening date and time will be promptly returned to the bidder unopened. The Hamblen County Highway Department will not be responsible for bids received late because of delays by a third party delivery service; i.e., U.S. Mail, UPS, Federal Express, etc. o fax copies will be accepted.
