The City of Barre is seeking bids for the purchase and delivery of various supplies to include fuels, aggregate, and chemicals at multiple facilities operated by the City. If chosen as the successful bidder, the vendor shall supply the product as requested, at their submitted bid price, for the entirety of FY26 from July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026, regardless of quantity provided. Questions related to specific products and facilities are to be sent to the point of contact of the facility that the vendor is inquiring about. Award of Contract The City reserves the right to accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Barre, even if it isn't the lowest bid. The City of Barre also reserves the right to not award the contract to any bidder, if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the City. All bidders, successful or unsuccessful, will receive written notice of the City's decision to either accept their bid, or not accept their bid within five working days after approval of the selected bid by the Barre City Council. No public bid opening ceremony will be held. Upon being chosen by the City as the successful bidder, the vendor shall sign and return the contract emailed to the contact listed on their bid form. The vendor shall also submit a certificate of insurance for the entire contract period, SDS sheet, and emergency contact information for each product that the vendor is selected to provide.
