Clark County Highway 99 (NE 102nd St-NE 104th St) Sidewalk Project Description of Work: the Project Will Entail the Installation of Sidewalk Along Highway (Hwy) 99 on the East Side Between the Vicinity of Ne 102nd Street, Across Tenny Creek, and Then Part Way Up the South Side of Ne 104th Street to Connect Into an Existing Sidewalk. Primary Bid Items: Mobilization, Guard Rail, Traffic System and Striping, Concrete Curb and Sidewalk, Surveying, Asbestos Water Line Removal, Structural Earth Wail, Stormwater, Aggregate, Traffic Control, Landscaping. Bidders Are Encouraged to "Register as a Bidder in Order to Receive Automatic Email Notification of Future Addenda and to Be Placed on the Bidders List. It is the Sole Responsibility of the Bidder to Obtain Addenda, if Any. Such Information May Be Obtained From Online. Clark County Accepts No Responsibility or Liability and Will Provide No Accommodation to Bidders Who Fail to Check for Addenda and Submit Inadequate or Incomplete Bids. Questions and Requests for Clarification Must Be Submitted electronically. Responses Will Be Posted electronically All Bids Must Be Submitted the Forms Provided in the Bid Documents. Bids Must Be Submitted in a Sealed Envelope With the Bidder's Company Name, Project Title, Project Number, Bid Opening Date, and "Sealed Bid" Clearly Marked on the Outside of the Envelope. Bids Submitted by Fax or Email Will Not Be Accepted Each Bid Proposal Must Be Accompanied by a Bid Deposit in the Form of a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Proposal Bond in an Amount of at Least Five Percent (5%) of the Total Bid. Should the Successful Bidder Fail to Enter Into a Contract and Furnish a Satisfactory Contract Bond, the Bid Deposit Shall Be Forfeited to Clark County. Clark County, in Accordance With the Provisions of Title Vi of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.s.c. 20000 to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, Hereby Notifies All Bidders That It Will Affirmatively Ensure That Any Contract Entered Into Pursuant to This Advertisement, Disadvantaged Business Enterprises Will Be Afforded Full and Fair Opportunity to Submit Bids in Response to This Invitation and Will Not Be Discriminated Against on the Grounds of Race, Color, or National Origin in Consideration for an Award.
