TCHC is an active housing provider and is engaged in constant repair and construction across its various asset types. TCHC is seeking a total of two (2) qualified Proponents to provide submissions for the Health and Safety Construction Site Inspections Program. TCHC will be awarding the contract to the highest scoring Proposal based on a combination of Rated Criteria and Pricing. TCHC's portfolio contains approximately two hundred and eighty-six (286) developments which are dispersed over three separate regions including Toronto Seniors Housing Corporation. All three regions in TCHC's asset portfolio will be divided into two (2) groups: East and West. TCHC is looking for two (2) Proponents. Each group will have one primary Proponent to conduct such inspections and reporting. The highest scoring Proponent will have the first choice of either East or West Portfolio, while the remaining Proponent shall offered the remaining group. Each awarded Proponent will be required to be a backup (secondary) for the primary Proponent. In the event that there is only one qualified Proponent, then TCHC may offer the entire portfolio to one Proponent, or offer either the East, or West group only, and retender the remaining group at TCHC's sole discretion. This RFP Category of Work is categorized as Services. The scope of Services in this RFP is sub-categorized as Health and Safety Consulting Services or consulting. TCHC's intention to enter into the form of Agreement based on that attached as Appendix B. The term is to be for a period of three (3) years, with an option in favour of TCHC to extend for two (2) one (1) year terms at TCHC's sole discretion. For details, refer to section 1.3.
