A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Evaluation and Preparation: Perform a comprehensive assessment of the current elevator system. Safely decommission and remove outdated equipment and components as required. Modernization Components: Install a new microprocessor-based elevator controller compliant with current ASME A17.1 codes. Upgrade elevator for ADA compliance. Replace or refurbish door operators for smoother and more consistent performance. Replace the existing hydraulic power unit, including motor, pump, and control valves. Safety and Code Compliance: Ensure full compliance with all applicable state and national elevator codes. Provide operational and emergency procedure for the modernized elevator system. Conduct thorough system testing and obtain necessary inspections/certifications. The County will either award a proposal or will announce that no appointment will be made. There is no implicit or explicit guarantee that the project will proceed.
