Site work and paving for a civil project in Livermore, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
**As of July 24,2025 , this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on August 20th,2025.** Work consists generally of repairing and grading eroded banks, constructing timber crib walls, installing rock slope protection including geogrid, installing vegetated soil lifts, replacing access roads, replacing outlet pipes and structures, hydroseeding, and planting. Work shall be performed at fifty (50) sites within various creek segments owned by the District, located in Dublin and Pleasanton, CA. Individual repair sites are itemized in the plan documentation coinciding with the bid form schedule. Approximately 4700 ft of bank repairs will be performed as part of this project. CONTRACT TIME. Construction activities for all fifty (50) bank repair sites may be phased over multiple construction seasons. All heavy equipment in-channel work may be performed during the construction window between June 1 October 15 of each construction year, or as directed by the Project Engineer. Final Completion of all work for each construction season shall be no later than December 16 of the respective year. Notice to Proceed (NTP) for this project is subject to receipt of all regulatory permits. The Contractor shall not commence work until the NTP is issued. Zone 7 will not be responsible for any costs, including but limited to mobilization, demobilization, standby time, or other delays, resulting from the permitting process or the timing of the NTP issuance. REQUIRED CONTRACTOR'S LICENSE(S). Each bidder is required to have a valid and current California Class A General Engineering license to bid this Contract. Question Deadline 05/29/2025 at 2:00 PM PT The District may respond to all questions, via written response or addenda, by 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 5, 2025, via posting online The District reserves the right to award the contract in whole or in part, or to make no award at all, as deemed to be in the best interest of the District.
