The proposed project consists of Phase 1 of the Springtown Open Space Concept Plan and would include the development of a five-to-seven-acre community park at the southern end of the project site consisting of a playground, picnic area, shade structures, restrooms and community garden. A new parking lot with approximately 20 vehicle spaces would be constructed south of the community park, adjacent to Bluebell Drive. The proposed project would also include four pickleball courts/two tennis courts, a half-basketball court, and an 18-hole disc golf course. The pickleball courts/tennis courts and half-basketball court would be located at the existing Marlin Pound Neighborhood Park, which is approximately one mile north of the community park, across Altamont Creek.
