Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Livermore, California. Completed plans call for site work for a golf course; playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
As of August 4,2025, project was awarded to GradeTech Inc, awarded amount is $6,208,024.97 https://www.livermoreca.gov/departments/community-development/planning/environmental-documents An IS/MND has been prepared for the Springtown Open Space Concept Plan Phase I Project, CIP No. 202319 (proposed project). The proposed project consists of Phase 1 of the Springtown Open Space Concept Plan and would include the development of a five-to-seven-acre community park at the southern end of the project site consisting of a playground, picnic area, shade structures, restrooms and community garden. A new parking lot with approximately 20 vehicle spaces would be constructed south of the community park, adjacent to Bluebell Drive. The proposed project would also include four pickleball courts/two tennis courts, a half-basketball court, and an 18-hole disc golf course. The pickleball courts/tennis courts and half-basketball court would be located at the existing Marlin Pound Neighborhood Park, which is approximately one mile north of the community park, across Altamont Creek. The 18-hole disc golf course would be spread throughout the remaining portions of the former Springtown Golf Course. The Project is located at 990 Bluebell Dr, Livermore CA, and is described as follows: The project will construct a new 6.8-acre community park in the Springtown area and will include playground equipment with shade structure, fitness area, multi-generational plaza, shaded picnic area with electrical outlets, community garden, trees, ecolawn and turf, pedestrian/bicycle path, and public restroom. Installing RRFB, ADA-compliant curb ramps, median bulbouts, and crosswalk striping as per city standards. A new 18-hole Disc-Golf Course will be built on 50 acres of existing site and connect to the community park. The planned timeframe for Substantial Completion of construction of the Project is 180 Working Days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. Final Completion of the Project is planned to be - 30 Working Days after the date of Substantial Completion. Question Deadline 06/12/2025 at 2:00 PM PT Questions are submitted online No, Questions regarding the Project, the bid procedures, or the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents must be submitted in writing to the Engineer at Roberto Escobar, Senior Civil Engineer, rjescobar@livermoreca.gov or Jaimeen Mehta, Assistant Engineer, jmehta@livermoreca.gov. Any responses deemed necessary by the Engineer will be provided in a written addendum to be posted on online. Each Bid Proposal must be accompanied by bid security of ten percent of the maximum bid amount, in the form of a cashier's or certified check made payable to City, or a bid bond executed by a surety licensed to do business in the State of California on the Bid Bond form included in the Contract Documents. The bid security must guarantee that within ten days after City issues the Apparent Low Bidder Notice ("ALB Notice"), the bidder must execute the Contract and submit payment and performance bonds, warranty bonds, insurance certificates and endorsements, as required by the Contract Documents. City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any non-substantive irregularities.
