Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Avon Lake, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
**As of August 01, 2025, the project was awarded to Gerken Paving, Inc., DBA Precision Paving, Inc., with an awarded amount of $2,089,403.31 with an Alternate 1 bid of $72,179.50.** The project consists of pavement widening to accommodate bike lanes on each side of the roadway, pavement and subgrade repairs, pavement planning and placement of 3 of asphalt pavement for approximately 2,400 L.F. of Walker Road, from approx. 1,600 east of Miller Rd. to Moore Rd. The project will also include roadside drainage replacement, subsurface drainage, curb ramp and sidewalk replacement, driveway apron replacement, pavement striping and signing improvements, linear and ditch grading and restoration and maintenance of traffic. The owner intends and requires that the project be completed by no later than November 7, 2025.
