The project is funded with both CDBG and Liquid Fuels funding including but is not limited to all labor, materials, tools, oversight and to complete milling overlay, base repairs, concrete curb, ADA curb ramps, granite curb, and maintenance and protection of traffic on South Market Street from East Noble Street to Green Street (CDBG) and Green Street to Broad Street (Liquid Fuels) and Center Street from Front Street to Bliss Street. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond with a corporate surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, in accordance with the project specifications in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount. Davis-Bacon Federal Wage Rates shall apply to this contract. MBE/WBE requirements are per CDBG grant requirements. There is no pre-bid meeting scheduled, but prospective bidders are urged to familiarize themselves with the site and review the scope of work and construction documents. The limits of work are marked out in white paint and included as notes on the project plans. Any contractor who does not do so and submits a bid does so at his own risk. City of Nanticoke reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or portions or to waive any informalities in bidding and to withhold award for a period of NINETY (90) days.
